Thank you so very much for preserving the past for the future. The marker dedication was a wonderful event! How very fitting we gathered exactly 127 years after the beautiful Union Depot was originally dedicated. Honoring your parents through the placing of the historical marker is such a loving gesture.
Inviting the community into your beautiful facility for a reception was very generous. Your staff was most attentive and welcoming. Everyone had a good time visiting
The Station Restaurant is a true Berea treasure! Best wishes for continued success.
Sincerely,
Linda Schultz
TRY THE STATION RESTAURANT - Bob Sutton was chef at the Pufferbelly for many years before he and his wife, Tammy, purchased it and began running it Jan. 1, 2000, as the Station Restaurant. Tammy is operations director.
While Custer was at Little Big Horn in 1876, this historic train depot was being built right here in Berea. Train lovers of all ages enjoy watching the trains zoom by. Photographs on the walls are also train memorabilia.
On the premises food preparation includes fresh seafood and Dick and I have found many favorites. Mine is the pecan crusted chicken and Dick's is the salmon. The salad and sandwich selections are amazinging and when we make it for lunch, Dick chooses the quiche of the day. Friday's fish fries are lake perch and prime rib is featured on Friday and Saturday nights.
The Sunday brunch, is offered from I I a.m. 2:30 p.m. Atkins Diet specials are available daily. The live nightly entertainment in the bar, Sutton calls "easy listening."
The 1923 Pullman is available for sit-down dinners for 24 or else for hors' d'oevres and cocktails for 50. The Station has become one of our very favorite places to dine.

Just thought I'd drop a quick note to let you know how pleased I was with the way our bowling banquet on Monday (April 26th) was handled. I think we ended up with a few more people than expected.
Your service and staff were excellent (food also!) and I would not hesitate recommending your facility to anyone! Thanks again for your good work.

Seafood restaurant chef wins honors
Executive chef Bob Sutton has been named "Chef of the Year" by the 300-member American Culinary Federation Cleveland Chapter. Well-known in the area, Bob has worked with the culinary students at Polaris Career Center and at Cuyahoga Community College where he's passed on his love of cooking as an art form. The "Chef of the Year" award may be the culmination of Bob's 25-year career, but it's riot the first honor he's received from the prestigious American Culinary Federation; Bob took first place in its 1995 Ohio Seafood Challenge.
Dear Bob and Tammy,
Both my husband & I want to thank you for the great dinner you served for our son's rehearsal dinner on Friday, April 4th.
The food was wonderful and the service was excellent.
It was obvious that Theresa, Pam & Chris were experts in handling a dinner like this. They allowed us to enjoy a wonderful time in our lives and not have to worry about anything. We are very grateful.
Thank all of you very much,
Charles & Diana Terrell

We wanted to say thank you for making Wally's retirement so special. We were so pleased with everything. Our guests loved their food, all selections were excellent. Your waitresses were wonderful and so professional.
So many of our guests were first-time and are so happy to have found The Station Restaurant. Our rail-road friends were absolutely thrilled with Track-Side accomodations.

Dear Suttons,
My daughter and her husband celebrated thier 15th wedding anniversary on April 29th. As they have on past anniversaries, they had lunch at The Station. Since they are so special to me I wanted something special for them. My plan was to pay for their lunch without them knowing about it. The day before their lunch with money in hand, I went to The Station. I had no idea how to work this our or if it would work out.
I met Chris, the hostess, who was a huge hellp and we worked out the details.
The next day since my description of them was vague and they were late, Chris and I exchanged a few phone calls. They finally arrived and everything went well, in fact, they are still talking abou their lunch.
The hostess, waitress, chef, all went their extra mile to make the celebration a huge success. You have a wonderful staff and I can't thank them enough.
Sincerely,
Sue Simpson
